The final phase of the wedding shopping was has taken us to the ‘Little India’ at Tengku Kelana Street. Members from both families had joined the ‘great’ saree hunt. After almost six to seven hours of walking in and out of all the shops, we manage to get all the items with a good bargain. Value for money indeed!
Major portion of the purchase was done at Chennai Silk Palace, beside Sri Kumarans Silk Store and Aruna’s. Since, I’m a regular customer at Chennai Silk Palace; I was given a generous discount.
The shopping went great as this is the first time both family join together on an outing. It was definitely a very happy and enjoyable moment to be treasured. I’m looking forward for such an opportunity in future.
