Last week on 8 February 2009, my parents, my sister and I, fulfil our vow to Lord Muruga at the Thaipusam celebration held in Sri Muniswarar Temple, Tampoi, Johor Bahru. More than 15 thousand devotees turned up to pay their respects and receive blessings from Lord Muruga.
I took the opportunity of Thaipusam holiday to extend my stay in Johor to survey on the bridal make-over and other relevant wedding services. Since, Radha came along with me, I thought it is better for her to consult the beautician.
Thanks to my ‘Periamma’ (Aunt) and my cousin sister, Latha, they introduced us to Ms.Parimala, an expert in bridal make-over. After consulting her, our perspective on the wedding arrangement had been redefined. Besides, bridal tips, she also strongly recommended us to engaged wedding planner to save ourselves from over spending.
Following to the wedding planner's recommendations, my father decided to change the wedding venue. Due to unavailability of the venue on the 9 April 2009; with the consent of my father-in-law, my father chooses to postpone the wedding to later date.
I believe all the obstacles and delay in previous arrangement work are for the good. Else, we would spend a lot for a simple wedding. Due to the blessing received from Lord Muruga, all the arrangement now seem to be very promising and gives us a new synergy to start fresh.
